some are watching football.
some are watching sad news.
but life goes on.
in my small life a young woman/flower blooms.
slowly.
carefully.
she stretched herself. stands on high heels/hills and looks around.
her body/stem wrapped with a green prom dress looks so fragile, and still so strong and stable.
her eyelashes/petals shiver - is it on me that the sun shines?

yes! it's for you that the sun shines! go!
wait! don't go! - i want to shout. but i don't.

זהו. זה עבר.

לא בכיתי (כמעט). 

לא היו נאומים מרגשים. לא היו רגעים בלתי נשכחים.

היו הרבה שמלות נשף. עקבים גבוהים. אוכל. יין.

רק שיר אחד הוזכר ולא יוצא לי מהראש:

i won't deny, i love to get gifts! they can be just words as well as material. today i got some from students that are leaving (or going back - from their point of view).

and from the garden

but the same pleasure was for me, giving my hand made gifts to people who like it and want it.
in this case, my two last hand made gifts are going now to two wonderful women which i love!!

the night wanderer

ביום שמ. גמרה את בחינות הבגרות שלה, והיתה צריכה לשמוח ולחגוג,

פושקין החליט לצאת לסיור להכרת השכונה.

בלי להודיע כמובן.

כלומר, הוא ילל משהו בארבע לפנות בקר, אבל היינו ישנונים.

אחרי שוידאנו שהוא לא על המקרר, בתנור או במכונת הכביסה בבית,

יצאנו לחפש מסביב לבית ובשכונה.

אבל פושקין נעלם.

הסתובבנו אבלים, משלימים בהדרגה עם העובדה שאולי ...

בלילה התעוררנו בתקוה עם כל רשרוש בבית.

ובבקר קמנו לבית שקט נטול פושקין.

וקוקוס?

היתה מאד מודאגת. חיפשה וריחרחה בכל פינה אפשרית.

קוקוס המשיכה בחייה כאילו לא היו הדברים מעולם.

בתשע בבקר טלפון.

פושקין חי ובריא ומחכה לנו בצער בעלי חיים.

בחצות הוא נמצא על ידי המשטרה משוטט במרחק כמה רחובות מהבית.

עדיין לא הצלחנו לברר איתו אם נעצר על שוטטות, או על שהטריד עלמות חתולות צעירות.

אנחנו עדיין מנסים לדמיין לעצמנו את הסיטואציה בה המשטרה עוצרת בחריקה את הרכב,

ואת השוטרים יוצאים מהרכב ומנסים לברר עם פושקין לאן הוא רוצה להגיע... (:

brownies and tests

i collected all sorts of brownies recipes, trying to find the best ever.
but again and again i'm coming back to this recipe.
very simple. great taste.

this time they were baked to celebrate the almost end of the test period.
you are almost there my princess!
and you are doing real good!
one more test to go and it's over!

i thought about it in the morning,
that if i'll sit near by all day,
i'd be able to see how it turns red.

on the other side,
it was a nice surprise to come in the evening, enjoy a great shakshuka,
and discover the first red raspberry.

with its sounds, lights, colours, smells and tastes

this magic time of the day that i tend to miss because i'm still in between in this time of the day.
i always wish to be a morning type, i love the character of the morning,
but i tend to wake up, i mean really to be awake, much later.
and now that it's summer, it's even nicer.
so when ever i can, i'll try (kind of trying not to push myself too hard in the morning...).
have a wonderful morning (for some of you it's already the middle of the day, i know),
and enjoy the rest of the day!

והנה הזדמנות להשוויץ בפעמון הגבינות המקסים שלנו.
מעשה ידיה של דינה שבגליל.
איזה כיף שיש חברות מוכשרות כל כך!!

ולארוחת בקר מפנקת במיוחד הוגשו גבינות עם לחמניות סקונס חביבות, סלט וקפה -
מי צריך יותר?

מתכון לסקונס פשוטים:

250 ג' קמח
2 כפיות אבקת אפייה
קמצוץ של מלח
30 ג' חמאה חתוכה לחתיכות קטנות
125 מל' חלב + חלב להברשה

מנפים קמח יחד עם אבקת אפייה ומלח.
מוסיפים חמאה ומערבבים לתערובת פירורית.
מוסיפים חלב ולשים לבצק רך וחלק.
מרדדים לגובה 1-2 סמ', יוצרים עיגולים בקוטר של 5 סמ' ומניחים על נייר אפייה.
מברישים במעט חלב ואופים כ- 10 דקות בתנור שחומם מראש ל-200 מעלות.

וכמובן שהם הכי טעימים כשהם טריים.
במקרה (מה שלא סביר שיקרה) ונשארו כמה, אז כדאי להקפיא ולחמם שוב לפני שאוכלים.
