into the darkness

it's 4pm and it's dark.
very dark.
and silent.
the silent before the storm.
they even closed the Christmas markets and sent the children home from school.
I can't stop thinking about "the wizard of oz".
maybe tomorrow morning we'll find ourselves somewhere else.
