and don't forget the calender, here on the right, that you can download and print. enjoy!!!

chanukka calendar
as chanukka began this year together with the advent calendar, i decided to make also a kind of calendar - chanukka calendar.
both of my children are big and lived till today quite in peace with this incomparable holiday - christmas.
nevertheless, they were happy to get this attention.
speaking of light and candles, in these minutes in israel happens one of the terrible disaster ever, the bad side of light - fire.

where should i start
ths first snow...
the second cthulhu...
the oldest son...
the 8 days...
or the new calendar...
any way, to make a long story short (other wise the "burekas" in the oven would burn....):
my oldest son left home to his own apartment. i'm not sure who feels happier...but anyway he's still ten minutes from home, have to hold myself not to go there twice a day...
with him, as a protecting angel, left also the second cthulhu.
then, only to make everything more dramatic, it started to snow. the most amazing views are usually of the leaves, flowers or fruits that didn't fall down and now covered with snow.
and a present for hanukkah or for the first advent, to those who jump sometime to visit me here, is my new "2011 dogs in flea markets calendar". just click and save! thank you shelly!
dear readers, i'll be happy to read your comments for a change...
and the rest after the "burekas"...
have a nice evening you all!

cthulhu
what does he do?
isn't it clear?
off course - a cthulhu:
much more than this i can't say... ya, actually, bizarre might be the right word to describe the situation.
anyway, it was fun and funny working together.
now, who am i to destroy such a nice tradition of sending autumn pictures?!
and to say the truth, it's never enough, and never like the real view.
and on the sunday morning walk to the flea-market, this is the line to the local bakery:

15 and a day
the gap between how sweet and small you are to us, and how big and complicated you are to yourself - is almost in its largest size now...
i hope that from now on we will both reduce the gap and meet more on the same level.
we all love you みか

it seems as if we got some kind of bonus from the summer (or the winter), and the last few days were so nice.
so, it allowed us to enjoy some nice flea markets,
and to change our service to an un-set-service.
it makes so much fun, picking up single plates that once used to be part from a very kitchy sets.
we enjoyed the cake from here on the new plates. very easy one and tasty (sorry, in hebrew... but at list enjoy the nice pictures in this blog. if you do want the recipe, it can be translated off course).
and we already enjoyed our pizza-and-movie-on-weekends-tradition on these plates.
and as to autumn...
look what we saw on our way back home today from another flea market.
and this in the center of the city.
the dwarf, by the way, was seen running away...
nice weekend to you all
love
p.s. the mouse comes and goes, never know if it's the same one or a different.

tom and jerry - eimsbüttel version
we have a mouse at home. should be smart and small. and has no big demands... he like tomatoes.
o.k.
yap! that's exactly the point! she brought him in!
o.k.
now it's your turn to say: hey! but you've got a cat!
yap! that's exactly the point! she brought him in!
the reason?
well there are some possibilities:
- maybe, she's just pitiful and concerned about poor homeless, and try to help them find homes.
- maybe she feels we don't trust her as a cat. and due to the fact that there are no mice at home, she brings them home and catch them to show us her efficiency.
- farther more! maybe she pays them to come home, so that she will be able to show us she knows her job.
anyway, now we live happily together forever and ever!
have a nice weekend and
